Ramon Figueras Garcia was born in Valls in 1965. His career with horses began at a very young age by participating in local Spanish dressage competitions. Having been successful in many he created his own stables, concentrating on the training of young Spanish horses. He then went on to give clinics both in France and Holland. Currently he runs the the riding centre at Rodonya, giving expert advice in his classes and clinics, training young horses for competition and exhibitions. During the summer months he travels around Spain with the Company Trajano offering a musical Spanish dressage show to the very highest standards.

You will receive personal instruction in small groups from 2 to 4 persons and the opportunity to ride on highly schooled Spanish horses. The purpose is to learn to become one with your horse which requires humility, technique, tact and patience in order to practice exercises such as half pass, Spanish walk, passage, levade etc. You will ride with English or Spanish saddles. After lunch at the stables or in a local restaurant you can ride in the beautiful surroundings of the Alt Camp, through vineyards, woodlands and olive groves.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. By own arrangements or transfer from Barcelona or Reus airport to your hotel.

Day 2 to day 7.
09.00 hours: Transfer from hotel to stables
10.00 - 13:00 hours: Spanish dressage instruction – practice and theory
13.00 - 16.00 hours: Lunch
16.00 - 18.00 hours: Afternoon trail
19:00 hours: Transfer from stables to hotel
